John was the Director of Quality and Manufacturing Technology Development prior to his retirement from Dofasco Inc. in January 2005. During his 36-year career with Dofasco, John had a number of assignments including General Manager of Primary Manufacturing and President of Gallatin Steel Company; a Dofasco joint venture in Kentucky, USA. John is a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and the University of Toronto. Among his associations, he is a past Director of the Hamilton Port Authority, a former Director of Quebec Cartier Mines, past President of the Iron and Steel Society, a former member of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and past President of Burlington District Scouts. John is currently the Managing Director of HOLDITCH Group Inc., a management consulting Company, and Fraser Ross Inc., an asset management company.
