Today we must announce that Rebekah Pitts is leaving Brickworks to pursue her passion of helping people. Through her time volunteering at Nova Vita, a women’s shelter in Central Brantford, Rebekah realized that her true career goals were not being fulfilled. We wish Bek every success in her future endeavors, and we will be supporting her along the way.

In December, Brickworks was selected as Agency of Record to market Horizon Utilities’ Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) programs. Our team is very excited to apply our CDM expertise to assist Horizon in meeting its residential and business program targets over the next three years. Having worked with Horizon’s Corporate Communications team on the new website and annual report, we’re looking forward to furthering our relationship with the CDM group as well.

Brickworks has recently added a new member to our ever-growing and developing online team. Cher has joined us as a web developer and will be offering her experience in website development, content management systems, analytics and social media. Her seven years of online media experience will be a key asset in helping enhance our clients’ brands in cyberspace.

2011 has been quite a year at Brickworks! We welcomed some familiar faces as well as new faces to our team which helped to broaden our depth of expertise even further. We won a number of very exciting new accounts, produced outstanding communications pieces and are truly excited about moving into 2012 with such a strong team and client base.

In the true spirit of Christmas, we believe in sharing our good fortune and are proud to support Ready4Life. We hope you’ll consider contributing in your own way to make another person’s or family’s Christmas merry.
